A visit to the Numismatic Museum brings to life Aruba’s long and rich history.

The Numismatic time line Aruba is displayed from 1499 – present.

As for the denomination of its main coin the florin, Aruba can claim to be the only country in the world using that denomination at this moment.

The global endless passage of time, once crossed by the most primitive of man, a road marked by swords and lances of great emperors, kings, tyrants, dictators, and presidents are displayed.

The numismatic museum moved to its new location next to the Central Bus station in Oranjestad, Weststraat z/n. Visiting hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
