New upgraded Fridge Clip distribution in honour of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix visit

 

November 2007 - During the visit of H.M. Queen of the Netherlands to Aruba, the entire population was celebrating this unique and very special occasion.

The arriving cruise guests onboard the Voldendam of Holland America Line were also part of this celebration where the first samples of the upgraded “Fridge Clip” were distributed by the Aruba Cruise Tourism Cruise Greeters, Mr. Jonathan Boekhoudt and Ms. Darline de Cuba.

The fridge clip is distributed among all disembarking cruise guests as part of the “Welcome Back” Program, that the Government of Aruba has in place. It will be keep- sake in households around the globe and will remind them of the BEST destination visited during a cruise vacation. The Welcome Back program is very successful, and the hits are increasing phenomenally. The Welcome Back program is to increase awareness and to offer special promotion on accommodation, activities, products, services and the best of all: the hospitable warm island ambience.

The Aruba information booth was decorated with the Netherlands and Aruban flags showing solidarity and respect to our beloved Queen Beatrix.

The Executive Director of Aruba Cruise Tourism, Mrs. Kathleen Rojer expresses; “We strive to offer only the best quality to our valuable cruise family and we are very happy of the acceptance of the new upgraded fridge clip.”

The fridge clip has dual purposes, to welcome the cruise guests over and over again to Aruba and serve as a MEMO holder on the fridge, making it the best souvenir a visitor could get, courtesy of Aruba Cruise Tourism.
