Patriotic Day celebrated with cruise guests

Aruba dedicated the month of March to the celebration of her 30^th anniversary National Anthem and Flag Day, which culminated on March 18^th, the day that the flag was risen for the very first time.

The cruise terminal was decorated with the Aruban flag for this special occasion.

Our PR Cruise Greeter, Mr. Jonathan Boekhoudt was all dressed up in the beautiful color reflecting the Aruban flag.

Guests were extremely interested in our heritage and were informed of the significance and all the island’s festivities taking place.

Aruba welcomed on March 16: Golden Princes with 2744 cruise guests and Volendam with 1333 cruise guests for a total 4077 passengers.

On March 17, the Carnival Destiny carried 2827 Passengers to Aruba, while on March 18, the Zaandam 1381 cruise visitors.

It was special days shared with a lot of pride and the joy was visible.
