Miss Isabel Tromp receives her F.C.C.A. check

 

Aruba 12 April, 2006 - The Florida Caribbean Cruise Association organizes annually an essay contest, where all Caribbean students are able to express their observations and wishes.

Aruba is no exception to participate and Miss Isabel Tromp did represent Aruba with the theme: “What is my country doing or should do to encourage passengers to return as land-based vacationers.”

She won in her category of 13 years and represented Aruba in the junior division.

Becoming the winner for Aruba entitled her to receive a FCCA check in the amount of US$ 200.

Mr. Samuel Curie traveled to Miami and received the check during the Seatrade conference from FCCA PR Manager, Miss Victoria Lalta.

Mrs. Kathleen Rojer – Executive Director issued the check to Isabel in the presence of her mother, Mrs. Agnes Tromp and Mr. Curie.

“Isabel was all smiles when receiving her check,” said Mrs. Kathleen Rojer. “She will use it during her Europe Easter vacation,” expressed Mrs. Agnes Tromp.
