Elation visits Aruba for the first time

Aruba welcomed the Elation of Carnival Cruise Lines warmly on the occasion of her first call, to her Oranjestad port, marking a re-unified friendly relationship with Capitan Giovanni Cutugno of Elation, for the years to come.

Elation called with more than 2000 cruise vacationers to explore and discover this unique island’s treasures.

The Government of Aruba in representation of Aruba Cruise Tourism, Mr. Ernest Giel and Mr. Jonathan Boekhoudt, together with Mr. H. van Esveld – Financial Director of S.E.L. Maduro & Sons, and Mr. J. Seraus – Nautical Director of Aruba Ports Authority N.V., exchanged plaques with Capitan Cutugno during a special plaque ceremony, which was organized by the ship’s agent, S.E.L. Maduro & Sons.

Capitan Cutugno has been to Aruba before on other occasions as Capitan of Carnival Destiny where he shared with the officials present, that his guests shared only positive commentaries on their experience here on-island.
