October 2006 Aruba welcomed warmly the Master, Capt. Oliver Kruess, crew and distinguished cruise passengers onboard M/S Alexander von Humboldt of Phoenix Reisen on October 15^th.

M/S Alexander von Humboldt was represented by the local ship agency, Admiral Shipping N.V. and a plaque ceremony was the call on sunny Sunday.

Present on this very special occasion was the Government Official representative of the Aruba Cruise Tourism, together with the Directors of Aruba Ports Authority NV, the ship Agent and the Local Customs representative.

M/S Alexander von Humboldt is a 12449 gross tonnage cruise ship and was in the Caribbean basin during her visit to Aruba.

M/S Alexander von Humboldt called amongst others, The Dominican Republic, BVI, Guadeloupe, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba, and Colombia.
