A successful turnout for FCCA training workshops in Aruba
The Head of Aruba Cruise Tourism, Mrs. Kathleen Rojer announces the successful turnout for both Florida Caribbean Cruise Association workshops, conducted by FCCA Marketing Manager, Mr. Adam Ceserano on June 1 and 2, 2005 in the Las Palmas Ballroom at Holiday Inn Aruba Sun Spree Resort & Casino.
The FCCA training workshops concentrated on Service Excellence and Caribbean Taxi Pride and was well attended amongst others by store attendants, tour operators, Private car hire companies, taxi drivers, and government officials giving exposure of the courses materials to a broader range of professionals looking for a refreshed or upgraded elements in order to enhance the arriving cruise passengers expectations. Over 150 attendees participated at the workshops.
The courses covered a wide range of valuable information and useful tools to exercise in each discipline.
The Service Excellence training workshop concentrated on appearance and attitude and how to make a difference during the initial guest contact, during the guest management to ultimately exceed the guest’s expectations.
The Caribbean Taxi Pride focused on what the passengers expect, first impressions count, 3-step professional procedure, your cab is your office, cruise passengers equals profit, etc.
The Ministry of Tourism and Transportation, The Government of Aruba via the Aruba Cruise Tourism worked in partnership with the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association diligently to materialize the training workshops in Aruba.
